Storage

Backpacks

Backpacks are the most basic form of storage that every player should obtain immediately.

They are essential for exploration, and without one, you’ll very quickly run out of inventory space.

Backpack Recipe

Backpack Tiers

The different backpack tiers scale with your mining progression:

  • Copper Backpack - Surround each backpack with Block of Material of bag etc Copper blocks for copper backpack.
  • Iron Backpack
  • Gold Backpack
  • Diamond Backpack
  • Netherite Backpack

You can expand your backpack by mining and upgrading through copper, iron, gold, and diamond.

If one backpack isn’t enough, you can craft multiple backpacks to avoid traveling back and forth between your base and exploration areas.

For base storage:

  • Chests can be upgraded using valuable ores.
  • Once you reach the End, you’ll unlock Shulker Boxes for advanced portable storage.
