Installing on a Client

In order to play Legacies on a client, you must be using a modded Minecraft launcher, such as the Modrinth App or the CurseForge Launcher.

Legacies is available to download from both Modrinth and CurseForge - and both versions of the pack are fully cross-compatible, so you can play with your friends regardless of how they downloaded the pack.

Server

Server Requirements

Minimum

• 4GB RAM server

Recommended

• 6GB RAM server

You can either self-host Legacies by following the installation guide below, or use an existing server host such as Bisect Hosting.

Installing a Server

In order to install Legacies to a server, you must use the Modrinth download. Don't worry - players can still install either the Modrinth or the CurseForge version.

The recommended method is to use ATLauncher to install the Modrinth version of Legacies as a server, and then copy those files over to your server. This is because Modrinth's mrpack format ensures that client-only mods are not installed when you install the pack as a server, rather than a client.
