Workstations
Blocks your familiars run for you: the Ritual Automator, the Scroll Reroll Station and the Sculpture Station.
These blocks are run by your familiars. You assign a familiar from the ones you carry, and it leaves your familiars and works at the block until you unassign it. If the block is broken, its familiar goes back to its owner, even if they're offline.
Each block is claimed by the player who first assigns a familiar to it, and only that player can use it while it's claimed.
Ritual Automator
The Ritual Automator runs rituals by itself, using an archmage to move the items.
It's crafted with an Eye of Ender and Arcane, Ender, Evocation and Cooldown Runes.
Setting it up:
- Place it within 10 blocks of a Ritual Core (5 blocks up or down). It works for the nearest core.
- Put a chest, barrel or any other container directly below it. That's where it takes ingredients from and puts results in.
- Right-click it to open its screen. On the left, pick a ritual recipe with the arrows and press Set Recipe. On the right, pick one of your archmages and press Assign.
How it works: the archmage hovers above the automator and opens a small portal. It sends the ingredients one at a time from the container to the statues and the core, following each item with its arm. When the ritual finishes, the result flies back into the container, and the automator starts again as long as it has ingredients.
- Items that don't belong to the current recipe are cleared from the statues and sent back to the container they came from.
- Several automators can share one Ritual Core. They take turns, each running its own recipe. Automators set to the same recipe help each other, supplying ingredients from their own containers.
- An automator without an archmage, a recipe or ingredients waits and lets the others work.
Scroll Reroll Station
The Scroll Reroll Station is the archmage's workshop for spell scrolls, and the only place where scrolls can be rerolled. It takes scrolls from the containers around it, rerolls them until they match what you want, and puts them back. It's made with a ritual on an Iron's Spellbooks Pedestal.
Setting it up:
- Place it with containers within 3 blocks of it. Every container in that range is used.
- Right-click it to open its screen. On the left, pick one of your archmages and press Assign.
- On the right, set the Input and Output filters.
Filters: each filter has five categories: School, Rarity, Level (a minimum and a maximum; hold Shift for steps of 5), Spells and Spell tags. The Spells and Spell tags lists have a search box.
- An empty category accepts anything.
- Within one category, a scroll needs to match any one of the selected entries.
- Across categories, a scroll needs to match all of them.
How it works:
- The archmage takes a scroll that matches the Input filter, and doesn't already match the Output filter.
- It rerolls the scroll every 2 seconds. Each reroll gives a random scroll of the same rarity, with a 5% chance of one rarity higher, at the lowest level of that rarity.
- When the scroll matches the Output filter, it's put back into a nearby container.
Rerolls never lower a scroll's rarity. If the Output filter can't be reached from a scroll's rarity, that scroll is returned as it is and isn't taken again until you change the filters. The station needs an Output filter to work; its screen shows what it's doing or why it's waiting.
The Output spell list only shows spells a reroll can produce. This mod's own spells (Call the Shadows, Ice Age, Ice Chamber, Electric Rain, Fire Fist, End's Mayhem and Switcheroo) can only be obtained from this station.
Sculpture Station
The Sculpture Station is run by a druid and an illusionist, and it's made with a ritual on a Lectern. It's explained in Sculptures.
