The Acts

Overview of Acts I to VII and how every boss lane works.

The story is told in Acts. Each Act is a chapter of your quest book with its own voice, bosses and rewards.

Only Act II must come first. Acts III to VI can be done in any order. Act VII needs all four Seals.

The boss lane

Every boss is a four-step lane. Read left to right in the quest book.

StepShapeMeaning
FindDiamondFind the lair, discover the structure or reach the place
RequirementRounded square or circleWhat the lair really demands: a key, an eye, an offering, a mini-boss. Only some bosses have one
SlayHexagonKill the boss

There are no filler steps. If a boss needs nothing before you fight it, its lane is just Find and Slay.

The Slay quest holds the briefing: what to bring and how the fight works. It also pays the big reward: coins, XP levels, a skill level and a piece of gear.

Optional goals

Most Seals also have optional goals: gear kits and hunts that pay well but never block anything.

Seal finales

Every Seal ends with a finale. It pays big, unlocks part of the Vault, gives you a full armor set from a different mod, and reveals a letter from Queen Isolde.

Before you fight anything

  • Check your gear locks.
  • Carry golden apples, ender pearls and a totem.
  • Set your dodge key and use it.
  • Mark the arena on your map.
