Act III: Seal of Steel
Nine arena bosses from Bosses'Rise and Bosses of Mass Destruction.
Act III: Seal of Steel
"Nine champions still hold the Seal of Steel. They swore to test any heir. Beat them, or bury yourself trying." Brannoch Ironvein
Nine bosses: five from Bosses'Rise and four from Bosses of Mass Destruction. They scale gently and are a good first Seal.
Recommended: Attack and Defense 10 (diamond gear), Agility 10 for bows.

Boss notes
- Sirok: burrows, erupts beneath you and leaves acid pools. Keep a roll ready.
- Skor: charges, slams and freezes. Hit and roll away.
- Ashlord: fight away from open edges. The Dragon Tower is uncommon and huge; use the Explorer's Compass.
- Helvar: learn his combos and punish the recovery.
- Nerakyss: damage tentacles first, then switch targets when the phase changes.
Bosses of Mass Destruction
| Boss | Locate | Prepare | Awaken | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Night Lich | Kill 20 zombies, 20 skeletons, 10 drowned (the Soul Harvest) | Hold 1 Soul Star | Hold 4 Soul Stars, a bow, 128 arrows | 4 gold, 8 levels, Necronomicon Spell Book |
| The Gauntlet | Reach a bastion (blackstone) | Totem, 4 magma cream, 6 golden apples | Kill 8 piglin brutes | 4 gold, 8 levels, Blaze Spell Book |
| The Void Blossom | Hold 2 Void Lilies | 2 milk, 6 golden apples, spore blossom | (none) | 5 gold, 10 levels, Druidic Spell Book |

The Lich in one paragraph
After roughly 50 qualifying undead kills a Soul Star drops. Zombies, skeletons, husks, strays, drowned and zombified piglins all count. A Soul Star flies like an Eye of Ender toward a Lich Tower in a cold biome. You need four to awaken the Lich. Bring a ranged weapon; it flies.
Boss notes
- The Gauntlet: a fist of blackstone. Watch the arm swings and punish every recovery.
- The Void Blossom: keep pressure on it. Retreating forever is functionally healing the boss.
- The Obsidilith: keep moving through attack patterns so its regeneration does not win.
Field Work (optional)
| Quest | You do | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Arena Vermin | Kill 40 spiders, 30 creepers | 2 gold, 3 levels |
| Shield Wall | Hold a full iron set and a shield | 1 gold, golden apples |
| The Diamond Standard | Hold 32 diamonds | 3 gold, 4 levels |
| Netherite Ambition | Craft a full netherite set | 5 gold, 6 levels, enchanted golden apple |
The finale: Seal of Steel, Broken
Reward: 10 gold, 10 XP levels, 4 netherite ingots, 2 enchanted golden apples, Legendary Ink, 2 Agility levels, and Vault Tier II becomes available (5 gold license). You also read Isolde's first letter.
Spoiler: the letter
"Do not trust the shadow that wears my face. If it can wear my face, it can wear yours."
Tips
- Bosses'Rise arenas are standalone. Do them in any order.
- The Vault sells the Underworld Arena Key, Soul Stars and Void Lilies if you would rather skip the hunt.
- Any boss you have beaten becomes a repeatable rematch contract.
